We have spent a few months riding the Super73 S2, and here’s my honest take for anyone thinking about getting one.
The S2 is unique in the e-bike world. Its 750W motor hits 20 mph on throttle and up to 28 mph with pedal assist. The 720Wh battery can take you 35–45 miles depending on riding style, which is solid for city commuting or weekend rides.
That said, it’s heavy at 71 lbs. Carrying it up stairs or loading it into a car is a workout on its own. The single-speed drivetrain means most of your pedaling relies on the motor; without it, riding uphill can be tough.
Comfort is decent but not perfect. The long seat is fun for cruising but can get uncomfortable on longer rides. The front suspension helps a bit, but don’t expect a smooth, plush ride.
Now the price is around $2,995. For that money, you’re paying more for style and brand than for raw performance. There are other e-bikes with longer range or more power at a lower cost.
Bottom line: If you want a stylish, fun-to-ride bike that turns heads, the Super73 S2 is a great choice. If you’re focused on practicality, range, and value, there are better options out there. It’s really about what matters most to you: looks or functionality.
