iam seen a lot of people asking about DYU electric bikes, so I thought I’d share what I’ve found after digging into them. DYU is known for making small, affordable e-bikes, but not all models are meant for the same type of rider.
Take the DYU D3F, which usually costs around €500–€550. It’s a mini folding bike with about 40–50 km of range. The design is super compact, which makes it easy to carry into an office or apartment. It’s fun to ride and does the job for short trips, but if you’re heavier or live in a hilly area, you’ll quickly feel that it’s not built for tough climbs or long commutes.
Now compare that with the DYU Stroll 1, usually closer to €900–€1,000. It’s still lightweight but has a sturdier frame, removable battery, and can cover up to 100 km on a charge. That makes it much more suitable if you’re planning to ride to work or use it daily. The handling also feels safer at higher speeds compared to the smaller DYU models.
