I'm checking out the Vivi electric bike lately and thought I’d share what I found, since this brand pops up a lot when people look for budget e-bikes.
Most Vivi models sell between $450 and $800 . For example, their 26-inch commuter version with a 500W motor usually lands around $480–$500, offering pedal assist up to 20mph and a max range close to 45–50 miles if you ride in eco mode. Their folding mountain bike styles or fat tire versions sit higher, usually in the $700–$1,100 range, depending on the motor power and battery size.
The main attraction is the price you get a fully functional e-bike with basic commuter features at almost half of what bigger brands charge. That said, I also came across a detail worth keeping in mind: some earlier Vivi bikes had issues with their batteries, so if you buy one, it’s smart to check that your model uses an updated, certified pack.
My personal takeaway: if you want an affordable e-bike for casual city rides, short commutes, or even light trail use, Vivi is decent for the money. Just don’t expect the same durability or refinement you’d find in a $2,000+ model. For under a grand though, especially around that $500–$600 mark, it’s a solid entry point into e-bikes.
