I'm checking out electric mini bikes recently and thought to share what I found about prices and what you really get for the money. Most models in the U.S. usually fall between $800 and $1,800.
On the lower side, around $800–$1,100, you get simpler models good for short trips, about 20–25 miles range, and speeds around 15–18 mph. These are fine if you just want something light for city rides.
Moving up to the $1,100–$1,400 range, the difference is noticeable. The bikes come with better batteries, longer range 25–35 miles, and smoother handling. They’re more reliable if you ride daily or cover uneven ground.
At the higher end, $1,400–$1,800, the bikes feel more solid stronger frames, better brakes, and motors that push up to 22–25 mph with ranges closer to 40 miles. These are mini bikes you can actually depend on for regular commuting.
