I’ve recently been looking into Segway e-bikes, and I was a bit surprised to see that Segway is moving into the electric bike space. Most of us know the brand from its self-balancing scooters, but their e-bikes seem to be getting some attention lately. I’ve seen so far that some models focus on commuting and urban riding, while others look more like fat-tire or adventure-style bikes. The designs look interesting, and they seem to combine smart features with electric assistance. Still, it’s hard to know how they actually perform in real-world riding.

Is the battery range close to what the company claims?
Are they comfortable for daily commuting or longer rides?
How is the build quality and durability after a few months of use?
