I’ve been looking closely at the Pedego MOTO and thought I’d share what I found, since a lot of people are asking if it’s really worth the price. The bike comes with a 750W motor (can peak higher when needed) and a solid 48V battery that can push the range up to around 70–75 miles if you ride conservatively. In real everyday conditions, with stop-and-go traffic, hilly routes, or carrying a passenger, you’re more likely to see 40–50 miles on a single charge. Top speed is around 28 mph, which makes it a solid class-3 style commuter.
What stood out to me is the build. The frame is heavy but feels sturdy, with front suspension and twin rear shocks that actually make a difference on rough roads. It also comes with proper lights and a long seat that can take two riders, which is rare for e-bikes in this category. Now, the flip side: it’s not light, and that’s noticeable if you ever have to move it without power. And it’s expensive. Depending on where you live, by the time you add import and taxes, you’re probably looking at something in the range of PKR 3.5–5 lakh. That’s a serious investment compared to some local or Chinese options. My takeaway if you want something long-term, powerful enough for hills, and backed by a brand that focuses on safety and reliability, the Pedego MOTO is worth it. If your rides are short, flat, and you just want a lighter, cheaper bike, you can easily skip and save money.
