I’ve been looking into the Stealth Bomber eBike recently because it pops up everywhere whenever people talk about high-power electric bikes. After going through specs, prices, and real owner experiences, here’s what I think.
The first thing that stands out is power. With setups going up to 15,000W and 72V batteries, it’s not really a “bike” anymore it feels closer to a light electric motorcycle. Riders report hitting 70–80 mph, and if you ride sensibly, you can stretch a single charge for around 60–70 miles. Off-road, the torque makes hills and rough trails feel effortless.
But there are trade-offs. The bike is heavy, usually crossing the 100 lb mark, which makes it tricky to handle at slow speeds or to move around when it’s not powered. Another point is quality — genuine models cost more but tend to be consistent, while cheaper versions (often $2,000–$3,000) can look the same but cut corners on parts. Brakes, forks, and wiring are the most common complaints. The higher-end builds usually land between $3,500–$5,500, and for that money you’d expect solid performance, but it’s still worth checking what battery cells and components are being used before buying.
For me, the Stealth Bomber makes sense if you want raw power and off-road fun. It’s not really a casual commuter it’s loud in presence, heavy to handle, and in many places, not road-legal at full power. If you’re thinking about one, I’d say focus less on the advertised top speed and more on whether the brakes and battery pack are strong enough to keep up with the motor.
Would I get one? If I wanted an eBike purely for thrills and weekend rides, yes. For daily use, probably not.
